A panic attack is a sudden, uncontrollable feeling of anxiety or fear or both. They can occur at any time for most of us, and most of us do not know how to control our panic attacks.

Also known as anxiety attacks, it is still largely a medical mystery which physicians cannot yet correctly treat. This is of course, not a shot at the medical profession, but rather an indication of how pernicious and unknown the phenomenon of panic attacks really are.

If you went to a physician about your panic attacks, the first thing that he or she would likely ask you to do it keep a notebook with you and document your experience. This is not so much to write about how the anxiety attack felt, but to document the circumstances around the anxiety attack.

Notebooks are useful for many different applications not just panic and anxiety. A physician might ask you to use it to monitor headaches, back spasms, irritable bowel and other things that are difficult to diagnose and treat.

So what are some of the circumstances that you might be asked to document? Where you are is often a large contributor, who you were with could have an impact, how you were feeling just before, was there music playing in the background? These are all of interest to you.

Then it is important to note the steps that you take after the anxiety attack and how it made you feel. Did you make yourself a cup of tea? Did you turn on some music that you like? More importantly, did it work?

The truth is you do not have to ever suffer from another panic attack or anxiety attack again

Very many people are working to end this suffering forever
